Lamborghini has introduced the successor to the Urus model - the Urus S. In essence, it is a facelift with minor changes. The 4.0-liter V8 engine has the same tuning as the extreme Urus Performante. Its power now amounts to 657 horsepower or 666 CV (as per our online converter) and 850 Nm of torque already at 2300 rpm. The power-to-weight ratio is 3.3 kg/hp, which is quite impressive. In terms of acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h, the new Urus S only trails behind the Urus Performante by two tenths of a second - 3.5 seconds compared to 3.3 of the Performante. Acceleration from 0 to 200 km/h takes 12.5 seconds. The top speed is 305 km/h. However, to bring the car to a complete stop from a speed of 100 km/h, it will take 33.7 meters of road surface. The Urus S has the same 7 driving modes (Strada, Sport, Corsa, Neve, Terra, Sabbia, and Ego) as the regular Urus. However, the reprogrammed exhaust system produces a more pronounced distinctive roar when starting the engine and has a more responsive sound in each driving mode. The new design of the front bumper features more refined lines and includes a new stainless steel protective plate painted in matte black. The new lightweight hood is made of carbon fiber and has black matte ventilation openings. The optional carbon fiber roof adds a sporty elegance to the new Urus S.
