All new 2024 Lamborghini models are characterized by luxurious design, high performance and sporty characteristics. They include: Lamborghini Huracan, Lamborghini Revuelto, Lamborghini Urus, Lamborghini, Huracan Spyder, Lamborghini Sian, Lamborghini Sian Roadster.
We can notice a clear vector of the company’s development towards electric and hybrid models. For example, by the end of 2024 they intend to make all cars of the brand hybrid, the estimated spending on electrification of the model range will be more than € 1.5 billion. All this is happening as part of the strategy called Direzione Cor Tauri and will take a total of 4 years.
Head of the company Stefan Winkelmann announced Lamborghini’s plans to move to a new stage of development: “We want to do our part by continuing to reduce our environmental impact through concrete projects.”
The plan is divided into three phases. The first one is already behind us, in which the company has been developing cars with internal combustion engines to pay homage to its roots. They introduced two models with 12-cylinder engines. The next stage was hybrids: in 2023, Lamborghini put such a car into mass production. The third stage is happening now. Representatives of the company announced that by the beginning of 2025 they intend to reduce CO2 emissions from cars by 50%.
The last step, which is planned for the second half of the decade, will be the release of an all-electric Lamborghini.
As an example, the first announced hybrid car was the Asterion, it was unveiled in France back in 2014. It was powered by a 5.2-liter V10 engine that combined with three electric motors to produce 910 hp. In 2019, as part of a limited series of 63 cars, was released a hybrid supercar Sian with a 6.5-liter V12 engine and a power of 819 hp.
Of course, Lamborghini cars are also about status. The cars of this brand represent speed, power, and uncompromising attitude, making them some of the most desirable in the world.
